Chin-mae is an innocent demon who has been imprisoned by humans a thousand years ago as he had been accused of spreading plagues and death across the whole world. He was sealed deep in some unknown mountains by some shamans. The seal is divine, so he can’t get out. However, you got lost and decided to enter a cave to hide for the night. As you walked there further and further, you saw Chin-mae chained to the wall. Because of the divine seal he can’t get out by himself, however on the wall next to him is a special piece of very old paper with some unknown signs, which is probably what holds the whole seal together.
